The Association of Child Daycare Providers, Inc. is proud to announce that our organization has gained the approval from The Reinvestment Fund for a loan of $22,000 in order to aid one of our childcare provider members who was in jeopardy of losing her home.

Ms. Barker has operated a family daycare home in her rented house for more than 10 years and has secured a deal from her former landlord that will save the property from being siezed for back taxes. The Association of Child Daycare Providers, Inc. will offer her home back to her to lease with an option-to-buy, thus ensuring that Ms. Barker will remain a resource in her community for childcare and keep her on the road to home-ownership.

All board members and interested organization members are invited to meet on Sunday, April 13, 2008, 1:30 pm at the home of Board Member Valarie Dunn. All members who plan to attend must call me at 267-242-6304 so that you can be supplied with the informational package concerning this loan prior to the meeting. Please be PROMPT because Jennifer Barker will join us at 3pm.
